As a Lead System Engineer, you will be the backbone of our IT operations, driving the design, implementation, and maintenance of our hybrid infrastructure. You will lead a team of experts, bridge the gap between private data centers and modern multi-cloud architectures, and ensure our platform remains available, secure, and efficient 24/7.

Key Responsibilities

• Multi-Cloud Architecture: Manage complex server infrastructures across a diverse hybrid landscape, including Azure, Google Cloud, Huawei Cloud, and İşNET (Atlas & Pacific Data Centers) .
• Multi-Site Network Engineering: Take full ownership of the network infrastructure connecting our three headquarters ( Istanbul Levent, Istanbul Kartal, Ankara ) and data centers. Manage MPLS circuits, Site-to-Site VPNs , and high-performance Office Wi-Fi systems to ensure seamless inter-office connectivity.
• Reliability & Monitoring: Maintain comprehensive monitoring and alerting ecosystems (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) to ensure 99.9% uptime and proactive incident resolution.
• Security & Compliance: Implement robust security measures and patch management strategies. Ensure infrastructure compliance with industry standards and banking-grade security protocols.
• Leadership & Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Disaster Recovery: Design, maintain, and periodically test Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity plans to ensure resilience.
• Vendor Management: Coordinate with hardware, software, and cloud vendors to manage procurement, support, and technology roadmaps.
• Advanced Support: Serve as the final escalation point (Level 3) for complex troubleshooting and critical system issues.

Qualifications

Experience & Background:

• Proven experience in the field (Practical experience and certification are prioritized over university degrees).
• 7+ years of experience in System Engineering/Administration.
• 2+ years of experience in leadership, lead, or senior mentoring role.

Technical Expertise:

• OS Mastery: Proven track record of installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux (Ubuntu & Azure Linux) and Windows Server environments at scale.
• Network Engineering: Expert-level knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN). Must have hands-on experience managing complex network topologies including MPLS , Site-to-Site VPNs , Office Wi-Fi , Firewalls , and Load Balancers across multiple physical locations.
• Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory Services: Deep expertise in managing Microsoft Server Systems in hybrid environments. Must have strong hands-on experience with On-premises Active Directory , Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) , and On-premises Exchange Management .
• Multi-Cloud Experience: Deep hands-on experience managing hybrid cloud environments. Must be proficient with Azure and familiar with others in our stack ( GCP, AWS, Huawei Cloud ).
• Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace: Significant experience with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace administration.

Nice to Have:

• Kubernetes & Containers: Strong experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes , specifically AKS and Rancher .
• Automation Tools: Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, Go, or PowerShell) and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Ansible or Terraform .
• Previous experience in the E-commerce or Fintech sectors.
• Experience managing high-traffic production environments.
• Certifications in Azure Solutions Architect, CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator), or CCNA/CCNP.
