Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in early childhood education and demonstrate exceptional classroom management skills. This role involves developing and implementing engaging curricula tailored to meet the diverse needs of our students, including those with special needs. The Lead Teacher will play a vital role in fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that promotes the overall development of each child.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards and cater to various learning styles.
- Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
- Collaborate with parents, staff, and specialists to support students' individual education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress.
- Utilize learning technology to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement.
- Provide support for children with autism, developmental disabilities, and other special needs through tailored interventions.
- Conduct assessments, including standardized testing, to evaluate student progress in literacy, math, and behavioral skills.
- Foster communication skills among students through speech therapy techniques when necessary.
- Create a safe and supportive atmosphere that encourages social interaction and emotional well-being.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education and special education.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience working with children in a classroom setting, particularly in preschool or daycare environments.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and behavior management strategies.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of early intervention techniques and childhood development principles is essential.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues.

Pay: $14.55 - $25.65 per hour
