Lead Teacher at Tiny Tech Learning Lab

Tiny Tech Learning Lab is an Early Education Program in Philadelphia, PA is looking for Lead Toddler room and Preschool teacher to join our team. We are located at 5951 Rising Sun Ave, 19120. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and hard-working.

Responsibilities

• Create a developmentally appropriate program for our students
• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
• Assess all areas of development of children using the Creative Curriculum.
• Develop and maintain a portfolio for each child.
• Conduct a 45-day "Ages and Stages" and two parent-teacher conferences per year with each family.
• Provide attentive care for preschoolers and toddlers, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
• Create a safe, engaging classroom environment that encourages curiosity and creativity.
• Monitor children's progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
• Maintain open communication with parents regarding children's development, behavior, and daily activities.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the classroom.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational program and share best practices.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with early childhood education trends.
• Closely follow licensing regulations related to childcare

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in teaching in a licensed ECE Program
• Passionate about the development and well-being of children
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• PA Child Abuse, Criminal History, FBI Clearances and NSOR clearance.
• TB test and current (within 12 months) health assessment
• CDA Certificate
• AA Degree in ECE preferred
• Knowledge of Keystone Stars preferred
