Job Summary
As a Lead Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experiences of young learners. With your minimum Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and rich experience, you will lead a dynamic classroom environment that fosters growth, creativity, and curiosity. What you’ll do

  • Develop and implement the curriculum tailored to meet the developmental needs of each child.
  • Provide nurturing care and support for children, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment.
  • Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions and resolve conflicts.
  • Conduct assessments to track student progress and adapt lesson plans accordingly.
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educators to support each child's unique learning journey.
  • Lead literacy education initiatives that cultivate a love for reading and writing among students.
  • Maintain an organized classroom that promotes effective learning experiences.

Basic qualifications

  • Minimum CDA credential required.
  • Proven experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.

Preferred qualifications

  • Strong background in early childhood education with preschool experience.
  • Familiarity with special education practices and child welfare principles.
  • Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management.
  • Proficiency in teaching various subjects including math and physical education.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $17.00 - $21.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
