Lead Teacher/Tutor

Huntington Learning Center of Clifton Park has an opening for Lead Teacher. This is a part-time position with a schedule of 30-35 hours per week.

The Lead Teacher’s typical day includes, but is not limited to:

· Greeting parents and students in a friendly manner.

· Providing exceptional customer service when interacting with parents by phone, email and in-person.

· Responding to prospective student inquiries by explaining the benefits of our program and scheduling evaluations.

· Training part-time teachers and monitoring their performance.

· Monitoring student curriculums/programs to ensure academic achievement.

· Tutoring K-12 students in a 1:1 or small group setting.

· Performing academic evaluations of prospective students.

· Scheduling and other administrative duties.

Schedule:

· We can be somewhat flexible, but hours are mostly weekdays between about 12:30pm and 8pm.

Requirements:

· Teaching/Tutoring experience is preferred, but not required. Experience in management, customer service or administrative work is helpful.

· Must enjoy working with K-12 students!

· Bachelors degree.

· Enthusiastic and team-oriented personality.

· Outstanding communication skills.

· Highly organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
