You Are:

UST is searching for a Lead Technical Business Analyst based in Mexico to drive data-centric solutions for our Retail/Real Estate business cluster. You will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical data teams.


The opportunity:

  • Requirement Gathering: Lead workshops to capture business needs from stakeholders.
  • Documentation: Create clear Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and functional specs.
  • Data Analysis: Write complex SQL queries to analyze data structures and validate data.
  • Agile Management: Manage product backlogs, user stories, and sprints in Jira.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Maintain team documentation and process maps in Confluence.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Present technical data insights to non-technical business leaders.

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.


What you need:

  • Location & Work Type: Must be based in Mexico (100% Remote position).
  • Experience: Over 8 years of experience as a Technical BA, specifically within the Retail or Real Estate domains.
  • Data Expertise: Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis.
  • Platform Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Snowflake data warehousing preferred.
  • Tools: Advanced proficiency with Jira and Confluence for project tracking.
  • Core Competency: Expert-level capability in writing BRDs and technical documentation.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional learning attitude, adaptability, and proactive problem-solving.
  • Languages: Fluent in English and Spanish for seamless collaboration.
  • Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
  • Data Pipeline: Basic understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and tools.
  • Data Visualization: Experience creating business dashboards using Tableau.
  • Domain Depth: Knowledge of financial forecasting, property valuations, or retail planning.
  • Conceptual understanding of Architectural Review Process (ARP) processes.

Benefits
