Lead Technician – ELV Projects

Job Summary:
The Lead Technician – ELV Projects is responsible for leading and supervising ELV installation teams on-site, ensuring proper execution of works related to CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, SMATV, Intercom, and other ELV systems. The role involves technical supervision, quality control, coordination with engineers and clients, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and as per specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of ELV technicians and helpers on project sites.
• Execute and oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems including:
• CCTV systems
• Access Control Systems
• Structured Cabling
• Network and related ELV solutions
• Interpret drawings, schematics, and project specifications accurately.
• Plan daily work activities and allocate tasks to technicians.
• Ensure work is carried out as per approved shop drawings, method statements, and safety procedures.
• Perform troubleshooting and rectification of system faults.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers, civil teams, and other trades for smooth project execution.
• Monitor material usage and report shortages or requirements.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover documentation.
• Enforce site safety rules and ensure proper use of PPE.
• Train and guide junior technicians and helpers.

Requirements:

• ITI / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or relevant technical qualification.
• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in ELV projects, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Strong hands-on experience in CCTV, Access Control, and Structured Cabling systems.
• Good knowledge of UAE standards, site practices, and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and layouts.
• Experience in testing and commissioning of ELV systems.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
