✅ Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Technician and/or Supervisor
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Obtain a toolbox and required tools
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on quality and safety
️ What You’ll Do as a Lead Technician
As the Lead Technician, you'll manage your shift while ensuring your team meets repair and maintenance deadlines. Your responsibilities include:
- Overseeing shift operations, ensuring work is completed on time and to high standards
- Assigning tasks to technicians and managing the flow of work
- Answering customer service calls, assisting with needs, and creating work orders
- Ensuring safety and compliance with company policies and procedures
- Troubleshooting and repairing refrigeration units using OEM software, reading codes, and diagnosing electrical issues
- Handling repairs for minor and major truck and trailer systems: fuel, coolant, electrical, drivetrain, brakes, suspension, and more
- Conducting PM services on trailers, refrigeration units, and APU units
- Performing FHWA/DOT inspections on trucks and trailers
- Brake and ABS brake system replacements
- Tire repairs and replacements for trucks and trailers
- Structural, rear door, and electrical trailer repairs
- Performing APU repair and troubleshooting
- Performing road service work, servicing company vehicles, and maintaining equipment
- Maintaining a clean and organized shop environment
- Leading by example and adhering to company and customer standards
