Lead Technician - Telecommunications

Position Overview

ATNI is seeking a Denver, CO local experienced Level IV Technician to lead telecommunications and data center projects. This role manages internal crews and subcontractors performing central office and data center infrastructure work including power systems, cable rack systems, fiber and distribution, grounding and bonding, and facility upgrades in live environments.

This role is responsible for coordinating field operations, maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensuring installations comply with industry telecommunications standards including Telcordia GR-1275 and CenturyLink/Lumen Technical Publications 77350 and 77355. Projects are completed on time and under budget. This is a hands on working position, not supervisory only.

Role Summary

Serves as the field lead for telecommunications installation projects, managing crews and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards.

• Lead field crews performing telecommunications and data center infrastructure installations.
• Coordinate installation of DC power systems, cable rack infrastructure, fiber distribution, and telecommunications equipment.
• Ensure all installations comply with Telcordia GR-1275 and carrier installation standards including Lumen/CenturyLink 77350 & 77355.
• Interpret complex engineering drawings, one-line diagrams, and construction plans.
• Provide technical direction and mentoring to junior technicians.
• Maintain installation schedules and coordinate daily work activities.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures, LOTO practices, and mission-critical site requirements.
• Interface with project managers, engineers, and client representatives on site.

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
