Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that align with educational standards while fostering a love for learning.

Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes literacy, math, and physical education.
  • Create lesson plans that incorporate various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
  • Manage classroom activities and maintain a structured environment conducive to learning.
  • Provide individualized support to students, including those with special needs or requiring early intervention.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional growth.
  • Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns.
  • Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, adhering to child welfare standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.

Skills

  • Strong background in early childhood education with experience working in preschool settings.
  • Proficient in curriculum development and lesson planning tailored for young learners.
  • Knowledge of behavior management techniques and childhood development principles.
  • Experience with special education practices and early intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to manage a classroom effectively while fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Familiarity with standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood education.
  • Experience in tutoring or providing additional support in literacy and math concepts.
  • Understanding of Montessori methods or other progressive teaching philosophies is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
