Lead Toddler Teacher (2-Year-Old Classroom) – URGENT HIRE
Location: The Learning Experience – Ledgewood, NJ
Pay: $16–$17 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
The Learning Experience – Ledgewood is seeking an experienced Lead Toddler Teacher to guide our 2-year-old classroom. This role focuses on supporting children as they build language skills, independence, social awareness, and early classroom routines.
This is an urgent hiring need for a dependable educator who can confidently lead a structured, engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a 2-year-old classroom in a safe, nurturing setting
Implement age-appropriate activities aligned with the L.E.A.P. curriculum
Support early communication, motor development, and social skills
Guide daily routines including toileting, meals, transitions, and rest time
Supervise assistant teachers and maintain classroom consistency
Communicate regularly with families regarding daily progress
Maintain compliance with New Jersey childcare licensing requirements
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum 1 year of classroom experience with young children preferred
Experience leading a classroom strongly preferred
Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
Must meet New Jersey childcare licensing and background requirements
