Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. This role requires a commitment to fostering a love for learning and supporting each child's unique growth journey.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment for all students.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
- Assess and monitor children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive teaching approach across the preschool curriculum.
- Engage in daily activities such as reading books, arts and crafts, music, and outdoor play to enhance learning experiences.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Proven experience working with preschool-aged children in daycare or educational settings.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and best practices in early education.
- Experience in behavior management techniques to support diverse learners effectively.
- First aid certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not already held.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with children, parents, and staff.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
