Lead Toddler Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality education and care to children while promoting their individual growth and learning.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
  • Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress in various developmental areas, including social skills, language development, and motor skills.
  • Establish positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support children's learning experiences.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively using appropriate behavior management techniques.
  • Provide care for infants and toddlers as needed, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that promotes learning through play.

Qualifications

  • Previous preschool or daycare experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices.
  • Experience working with children is a plus.
  • First aid certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to manage a classroom effectively while fostering a positive learning environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
