Lead Toddler Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and develop essential skills. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.

Duties

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment for all children.
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support children's learning.
• Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and adapting teaching methods as needed.
• Facilitate play-based learning activities that encourage exploration and creativity.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting a positive atmosphere for learning.
• Collaborate with other educators to support children with special needs or disabilities.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and developmental milestones.

Requirements

• Experience in preschool settings
• Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff.
• Ability to create lesson plans that are inclusive of all learners, including those with special education needs.
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $19.32 per hour
