Lead Toddler Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As a Toddler Teacher, you will play a key role in creating a nurturing, stimulating, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children ages 12 months to 30 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages curiosity and discovery.
• Foster strong, supportive relationships with children, families, and team members.
• Monitor and document children's growth and developmental milestones; communicate progress with parents.
• Adapt curriculum and provide support for children with developmental delays or special needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and child-accessible classroom.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity and enrichment across classrooms.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and staff training.

Qualifications

• AA, CDA, or related field preferred (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education).
• Previous experience in a preschool or early learning environment strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood best practices.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to create engaging, differentiated lesson plans.
• Experience with toddler care or special education is a plus.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (can be obtained after hire).
• A warm, patient, and energetic demeanor with a true passion for nurturing young minds.
