Lead Toddler Teacher

Abilene Childcare Learning Center and ACLC-2 are hiring for a long-term Lead Toddler teacher.

This position will work with children 0-3 years of age.

Applicants must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, complete all licensing requirements and program requirements. Including training requirements, Pediatric CPR and First aid, physical and TB skin test.

For Lead position, applicants must have an Associate degree OR a higher in early childhood, child development OR a related academic discipline from a regionally accredited college OR university or Technical certificate or diploma in early childhood OR Child Development Associate Credential OR 3 semester hours of academic study OR equivalent training in early childhood, child development, OR a related academic discipline from a regionally accredited college OR university and 3 months experience in early childhood education providing direct care and supervision to children of the same age range they served OR six months experience in early childhood education providing direct care and supervision to children of the same age range they will be serving.

The Lead toddler position requires weekly, Creative Curriculum lesson planning, keep current developmental assessments, classroom management, time management, team player, flexibility, strong understanding of child development and strong communication skills with parents and co-workers.

Must be dependable, loving, kind, healthy, reliable, and teachable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
