Lead Toddler Teacher

Little Stampede Learning Co. is seeking a dependable and nurturing Lead Toddler Teacher to create a safe, structured, and engaging environment for children ages 18 months–3 years using Montessori methodologies. This role focuses on supporting early development, independence, and positive routines within the classroom.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
• Lead daily routines including circle time, work cycle, meals, and rest
• Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental growth through hands-on learning
• Encourage independence and appropriate behavior using positive guidance
• Communicate professionally with families and team members
• Ensure compliance with all NYS OCFS regulations and center policies

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (required)
• Experience working with toddlers preferred
• Montessori knowledge is a plus, but not required
• Strong reliability, professionalism, and classroom management skills
