Lead Toddler Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to inspire and nurture the youngest learners in our early childhood education program. In this vital role, you will lead classroom activities, develop engaging curricula tailored to toddlers’ developmental stages, and foster a warm, safe, and stimulating environment. Responsibilities

  • Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans focused on early childhood milestones, including literacy education, math concepts, physical activity, and social skills.
  • Lead daily classroom activities that promote curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management among toddlers.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum development strategies that incorporate Montessori principles and innovative teaching methods.
  • Monitor each child's progress through observations and assessments aligned with childhood development standards and standardized testing where applicable.
  • Foster strong communication with parents and guardians by providing regular updates on children’s growth, behavior, and learning milestones.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that complies with childcare regulations and promotes child welfare.
  • Support children with special education needs or those requiring early intervention services by adapting activities to meet individual requirements.

Requirements

  • Proven classroom management skills with experience working directly with toddlers in a daycare or preschool setting.
  • Strong knowledge of early childhood education practices, including curriculum development, behavior management, and classroom organization.
  • Experience in working with children who have special needs or require early intervention support is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and Montessori techniques.
  • Familiarity with childhood development principles and standards for preschool education.
  • Valid certification in early childhood education or related fields; additional training in special education or toddler care is a plus.
