Job Type: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

We’re currently seeking an experienced, passionate, and energetic Lead Toddler Teacher to join our Quogue team and help young learners bloom every day.

Position Overview:
The Lead Toddler Teacher will be responsible for creating and leading a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom for children ages 18 months to 3 years. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of toddler development, a love for early childhood education, and a strong commitment to fostering learning through play.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence
  • Maintain open, respectful communication with parents and caregivers
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organized classroom
  • Observe, document, and assess children’s growth and development
  • Work collaboratively with assistant teachers and center staff
  • Follow all state licensing and Bloom Learning Center policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
  • NYS Teaching Certification (Birth–2) or CDA (Child Development Associate Credential) is a plus
  • Minimum of 1–2 years experience in a toddler or preschool classroom setting
  • Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices
  • Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills
  • A warm, positive, and professional attitude

Schedule & Compensation:

  • Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
  • Competitive hourly rate, based on experience and education
