Lead Two-Year-Old Teacher – Join Our Welcoming, Positive Team!

Are you passionate about early childhood education and ready to make a lasting impact on young learners? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Lead Two-Year-Old Teacher to join our nurturing and collaborative team.

In this role, you’ll create a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment where our two-year-olds can explore, learn, and grow. Your creativity and care will help shape the foundational experiences that prepare children for lifelong learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that support social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence.
  • Use positive guidance and effective behavior management strategies to promote a joyful learning experience.
  • Observe, assess, and document each child’s development and progress.
  • Build strong partnerships with parents through open, ongoing communication about their child’s growth and needs.
  • Provide individualized support for children with special needs or early intervention plans.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-prepared classroom.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to a positive, team-oriented workplace.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, or private school setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices.
  • Experience in lesson planning, curriculum implementation, and classroom management.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to creating a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Experience with Montessori or other educational philosophies is a plus.
  • Experience with two-year-olds is highly preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
