Creative Play Preschool is looking for a Lead Infant Teacher to guide our busy, curious 2-year-olds — the age group that keeps you laughing, on your toes, and constantly learning right alongside them.

Our program was created by a mom of two who wanted a place that felt more like a second home than a school. With her background in social work and her heart for family support, she built a program where kids are encouraged to explore, play, make noise, and engage with the world around them. We focus on hands-on activities, creative experiences, and a curriculum that makes learning feel like an adventure instead of a task.

What This Role Looks Like

• Leading a room of energetic two-year-olds with patience, structure, and a playful spirit
• Planning meaningful, age-appropriate activities that support early development
• Creating a classroom atmosphere that feels warm, safe, and full of opportunities to explore
• Collaborating with a team that values communication, teamwork, and growth
• Using a play-centered curriculum designed to support cognitive, social, and emotional milestones

What You Need to Bring

• NC Lead Teacher Credential preferred
• Background Check Qualification Letter required
• At least one year of hands-on childcare experience
• Comfort juggling multiple tasks in a lively classroom
• A mindset that values creativity, patience, and continuous learning
• High school diploma or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
