Lead Video Editor

Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and passionate Lead Video Editor to help Beam Editing provide excellent video editing services to it's clients.

Duties

• Lead the editing process for our content creator clients. Creating engaging short form content that reflects our clients editing style and voice.
• Collaborate closely with leadership and clients.
• Oversee the full editing process, including ideation, raw footage sorting, and revisions.
• Manage and mentor junior editors
• Coordinate with content management systems for efficient file organization, version control, and delivery across various platforms.
• Utilize skills in video editing software (like Capcut or others) to effectively create content.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of social media trends.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Lead Video Editor for content creators, including a creative portfolio of projects you've done in the past for content creators.
• Extensive proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator), Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, Cinema 4D, Maya, and other relevant editing tools.
• Strong understanding of social media trends, and how to create engaging edits.
• The ability to transmute a strong story in a short video.
• Experience working with content management systems for digital asset organization and distribution. (dropbox etc.)
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail under tight deadlines.

Pay: $2,800.00 - $3,800.00 per month
