Position Overview

INNOVEX Agency is seeking a Lead Video Editor — a highly skilled, visionary, and technically advanced professional responsible for overseeing all post-production activities across the agency.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai.

You will lead and mentor the in-house post-production team while also managing remote editors and motion designers. You will personally handle advanced editing, color grading, and mastering of high-end visual content.

You will collaborate closely with the Creative Director and Head of Production to ensure smooth execution from pre-production to final delivery — contributing to storyboards, creative briefs, and visual direction.

Reports to: Creative Director & Head of Production

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the entire post-production department (in-house and remote), including editors, colorists, photo editors, VFX artists, and motion designers.
• Participate in creative planning, offering expert input on storyboards, visual style, pacing, and edit flow with the Creative Director and Head of Production.
• Hands-on editing, color grading, and mastering using DaVinci Resolve Studio, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Manage efficient file and project organization using Google Drive, including folder structures, backups, metadata, and asset versioning.
• Review, critique, and approve final outputs to ensure visual consistency, narrative clarity, and technical excellence.
• Integrate AI-driven creative tools (Runway ML, Pika Labs, Midjourney, Sora, ChatGPT, Leonardo.Ai, Kaiber, etc.) into workflows to enhance creativity and efficiency.
• Stay current with new AI trends, post-production technologies, and industry innovations.
• Collaborate closely with the production team to ensure creative alignment from shoot to edit.
• Mentor and train the editing, color grading, and animation team to strengthen storytelling and technical skills.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on-time and meet INNOVEX’s high quality standards.

Requirements

• Fluent in English (Arabic proficiency preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in post-production, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Advanced expertise in:
• DaVinci Resolve (editing, color grading, mastering)
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Adobe After Effects
• Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Strong working knowledge of AI creative tools (Runway ML, Pika Labs, Midjourney, Sora, ChatGPT).
• Proven ability to manage both in-house and remote teams.
• Exceptional storytelling instincts and cinematic pacing skills.
• Strong organizational skills, especially in Google Drive file management.
• Ability to handle pressure, work with tight deadlines, and deliver consistent results.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
