Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled Lead Videographer to elevate our visual storytelling through compelling video content. In this role, you will lead our videography efforts from filming to post-production, ensuring every project captures the spirit of Weequahic. Your creativity and technical expertise will help showcase our community, activities, and camper experiences to a global audience. Duties

• Lead the planning, filming, and editing of high-quality videos that highlight camp activities, events, and camper stories using professional videography techniques.
• Manage all aspects of video production including camera operation, lighting setup, sound recording, and motion graphics creation.
• Oversee post-production processes utilizing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Photoshop to craft polished final products.
• Collaborate with media team and creative team members to develop engaging storylines aligned with camp branding and messaging goals.
• Maintain and organize video footage libraries using Adobe Creative Suite tools like Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Illustrator for supplementary visual content.
• Ensure all video content adheres to brand standards while innovatively capturing the lively essence of camp life.
• Mentor junior videographers or interns in filming techniques and editing workflows to foster team growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in professional videography with a strong portfolio demonstrating skills in filming, editing, and motion graphics.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, as well as Final Cut Pro.
• Solid understanding of post-production workflows for video production projects from start to finish.
• Skilled in photography using tools like Adobe Lightroom to complement videography projects.
• Excellent eye for detail with the ability to tell compelling stories through visual media.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
