Pay: $30 – $40 per hour (DOE)
Full-Time | 40+ hours per week

Resilient Retrofits is hiring an experienced Lead Weatherization / Insulation Installer to join our growing home performance team serving the Portland Metro area.

We are looking for a skilled installer with experience in attic insulation, crawlspace insulation, drill and fill wall insulation, and air sealing. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in high-quality work and wants to help lead projects that improve comfort, efficiency, and indoor air quality.

Our team performs weatherization upgrades, insulation installs, ventilation improvements, and heat pump retrofits across residential and multifamily buildings.

Responsibilities

Lead installation of residential insulation and weatherization upgrades

Perform drill and fill wall insulation

Install attic and crawlspace insulation

Perform air sealing measures including top plates, penetrations, and attic bypasses

Work in attics and crawlspaces

Follow scopes from energy audits and Energy Trust of Oregon weatherization standards

Maintain safe, clean, and professional jobsites

Communicate with project managers and office staff

Support and guide junior installers on the crew

Requirements

Minimum 2+ years insulation or weatherization installation experience

Experience with drill and fill wall insulation

Comfortable working in attics and crawlspaces

Experience removing and reinstalling siding for wall insulation

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Strong attention to detail and workmanship

Preferred / Bonus Skills

Experience with Energy Trust of Oregon weatherization specifications manual

Carpentry experience (blocking, framing, access hatches, minor repairs)

Experience with dense pack insulation

Experience with blower door testing
