Mon–Thurs: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Fridays optional overtime

Position Summary

This is a hands‑on leadership role for a skilled welder who can also elevate the performance of the welding team. You will be responsible for increasing welding production, improving workflow, and supporting the team in hitting quality and output targets.

This role blends expert welding ability with day‑to‑day leadership. You will set the pace, coach others, identify bottlenecks, and work closely with the Foreman to drive results. As our team grows, you will also help Bow Creek Metal become a welcoming environment for Spanish‑speaking welders.

You will also have the opportunity to help build the team:

For every welder you successfully recruit who stays 90 days, you earn a $500 recruitment bonus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high‑quality welding on stainless, aluminum, and mild steel
  • Prep, fit, and assemble parts prior to welding
  • Inspect welds for accuracy and consistency
  • Increase welding production by setting pace, improving flow, and supporting team efficiency
  • Coach and support welders to improve speed, quality, and consistency
  • Assist the Foreman with workflow planning and production priorities
  • Identify bottlenecks and propose process improvements
  • Maintain a clean, organized, safe work area
  • (If bilingual) Support communication with future Spanish‑speaking hires
  • Help recruit quality welders and support their onboarding

Requirements

  • Welding experience required
  • Ability to pass Bow Creek Metal’s welding test
  • Proven ability to work fast while maintaining high quality
  • Demonstrated leadership traits: initiative, accountability, problem‑solving
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Reliable transportation
  • Willingness to cross‑train
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a major plus, not required

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
