Your Mission:
As the Workday Lead HRIS Analyst, you will be an experienced Workday Payroll, Time Tracking and Absence Functional Resource to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the effective, configuration, and maintenance of the Workday Payroll system. This role requires a deep understanding of payroll processes, Workday functionality, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure seamless payroll operations.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- System Configuration and Maintenance: Lead the configuration and maintenance of Workday Payroll modules, ensuring alignment with business requirements and payroll policies.
- Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize payroll processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. Provide recommendations for improvements and best practices.
- Data Management: Maintain the integrity and accuracy of payroll data within the Workday system. Perform regular audits and validation checks to ensure data consistency.
- Working together with various groups who have a shared interest in a project, initiative, or organization.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to payroll users, ensuring they are proficient in using the Workday system. Address any user queries and troubleshoot system-related issues.
- Ensure cross-functional dependencies and business readiness needs are articulated, managed, and addressed to successfully execute work with quality and on-time
- Responsibilities include documentation, configuration and testing support.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with relevant payroll regulations and standards. Generate and analyze payroll reports to provide insights and support decision-making processes.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with Workday updates, enhancements, and industry trends. Proactively identify opportunities for system and process improvements.
- Lead a team of HRIS professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure optimal performance and development.
- Oversee the management and resolution of queries and transactions related to core HR processes across all HR systems, including Workday and timekeeping systems.
- Direct the recommendation, implementation, and optimization of Workday functionality, including system configuration, project planning, and issue resolution. Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure success.
- Ensure all changes and enhancements are well-documented, following best practices for version control and naming conventions.
- Supervise the development and maintenance of advanced reports and dashboards in Workday to support HR and business decision-making.
- Manage integrations between Workday and other systems, ensuring smooth data flow and integrity. Troubleshoot integration issues and collaborate with IT and vendors to resolve them.
- Lead large-scale Workday-related projects, including system upgrades, implementations, and rollouts. Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
- Act as the key point of contact for Workday system administration and optimization, aligning team efforts with broader organizational goals.
- Ensure that all work streams across HR (payroll, compensation, recruiting, onboarding, time tracking, leave of absence, benefits) are cohesive and that cross-functional impacts are addressed.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in HR systems and provide strategic guidance in the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of HR system
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related area, or equivalent experience.
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including advanced report writing and data analysis.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional projects, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Extensive experience with SDLC Project methodologies, including data mapping, writing test plans, and managing testing processes.
- Proficiency in Workday, strong understanding of payroll processes, data management, and reporting.
- Ability to analyze complex payroll issues, identify root causes, and provide effective solutions.
- Experience in managing payroll projects, including scoping, planning, and execution. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Workday Payroll Certification, a plus.
- Familiarity with payroll regulations and compliance requirements in multiple regions, a plus.
