Learning And Development Specialist (UAE Nationals Only)

Job Summary: (UAE Nationals only)

The Learning & Development Specialist will be responsible for managing and enhancing the learning and development initiatives at the UAE Space Agency. This includes succession planning, internship and volunteering programs, as well as overseeing all training activities, including Training Needs Analysis (TNA), executive coaching, and mentorship programs. The role also involves handling employee wellbeing and engagement programs and supporting employees in creating and maintaining their Individual Development Plans (IDPs). The L&D Specialist will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure that learning initiatives are aligned with the agency’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee succession planning initiatives.
• Manage the internship and volunteering programs.
• Handle all training programs, including the development and execution of the annual training plan and TNA.
• Facilitate executive coaching and mentorship programs.
• Support and promote employee wellbeing and engagement initiatives.
• Assist employees with creating and managing their IDPs.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by the line manager.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Learning & Development or a similar role.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Professional certification in Human Resources, such as CIPD, SHRM, or similar, is a plus.
