SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

The Global Health Advocacy Incubator seeks a Program Manager to lead and support the management, growth, and optimization of learning content and engagement on our learning management system (LMS), the Health Advocacy and Training Collaboration Hub (HATCH). This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven, collaborative environment and brings strong communication, writing, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively with global colleagues and stakeholders. This position is based in Washington, DC and reports to the Director of Capacity Strengthening.


WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH:

Course Development & Management:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of e-learning courses, from development to launch.
  • Edit, enhance, and maintain existing course materials.
  • Support internal program teams across various global health areas in developing and managing course content.
  • Identify and manage external vendors for e-learning course creation.
  • Serve as the primary liaison among vendors, subject-matter experts, and the LMS Manager throughout course development.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT to review and upload training materials.
  • Proofread course content and review translations for quality and accuracy.


LMS Team Management:

  • Track and manage all deadlines and deliverables across the LMS platform (HATCH).
  • Maintain the LMS project planner, serving as a primary source for platform priorities.
  • Convene regular project team and monthly Advisory group meetings, documenting notes and following up on action items.
  • Work with the Communications and Digital Engagement Manager to develop and evaluate promotional content and engagement strategies for HATCH.


Partner & Program Team Support:

  • Support external partners in reviewing and uploading their course materials.
  • Facilitate collaboration between internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth content integration.
  • Coordinate automated reporting of user engagement metrics for program teams.
  • Work with program teams to identify the most useful metrics for decision making.


SKILLS YOU'LL BRING TO THE ROLE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in public/global health, public policy, communications, international development, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams, managing digital learning projects, and supporting global health program implementation.
  • Strong project and budget management skills and experience with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Azure, Asana, Jira, Smartsheet).
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms and digital course development tools.
  • Experience with courseware authoring tools (e.g., Captivate, Storyline) is preferred.
  • Strong writing skills and exceptional organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, provide clarity in complex projects, and collaborate proactively across teams.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Spanish or French is highly desirable.
  • Strong intercultural communication skills and experience working with global teams, with sensitivity to global health equity and diverse cultural contexts.
  • Understanding of global public health and global development environments.
  • Knowledge of instructional design and adult online learning best practices preferred
  • Knowledge of data analytics is preferred.
