Lease Revenue Analyst II

The Lease Revenue Analyst II is responsible for creating and processing chargeback requests and handling security deposit dispositions upon resident move-out. This role involves reviewing portfolio performance for revenue predictions and troubleshooting irregularities in resident financial transactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Retrieve and verify Move-Out Refund Forms (MORF) from the database, ensuring accurate deposit accounting, including coding and amounts, before processing security deposit dispositions.
  • Collaborate with the accounts payable department and revenue managers for check status and void/reissue requests.
  • Lead the team in addressing inquiries and providing resolutions to improve performance, efficiency, and best practices.
  • Develop training documents for Lease Revenue Analyst I’s daily duties to ensure consistency and clarity of procedures and expectations.
  • Monitor the team dashboard and assist team members as needed.
  • Review and audit daily chargeback reports for accuracy and company compliance.
  • Perform detailed review and analysis of delinquency reports for cancelled tenants and liaise with revenue managers to explain financial workflows and provide requested information.
  • Manage data entry, validation, and chargeback documents for HOA, utilities, and maintenance related to tenant accounts.
  • Prepare journal entries with supporting documentation for revenue managers and staff accountants as requested.
  • Produce audit reports to identify and track key metrics as determined by the department director.
  • Review all posts payable batches to ensure accuracy of disbursement checks created by the Lease Revenue Analysts when needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Associate’s degree in accounting or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or accounts payable required.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and automated accounting systems.
  • Familiarity with Yardi or Dynamics CRM software is a plus.
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • PC skills.

Compensation

The anticipated pay range/scale for this position is $25.50 to $30.61 Hourly. Actual starting base pay within this range will depend on factors including geographic location, education, training, skills, and relevant experience.

Additional Compensation

This position is not eligible to receive additional compensation.
