Fossil Ridge Apartments is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Leasing Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate is energetic, professional, sales-oriented, and passionate about helping prospective residents find their next home. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service throughout the leasing process.

Responsibilities
1. Present the property and its amenities in a positive and professional manner to prospective tenants
2. Advertise available units across various media and marketing platforms
3. Assess the needs and housing requirements of prospective tenants
4. Process rental applications, screen applicants, and negotiate lease terms
5. Serve as a liaison between tenants, corporate staff, property owners, and regulatory agencies
6. Stay informed on housing industry trends and local market conditions
7. Support maintenance operations by issuing work orders, conducting periodic inspections, and
scheduling service appointments
8. Perform additional duties as assigned
Physical Demands
1. Ability to walk, stand, sit, stoop, kneel, run, and climb stairs
2. Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
3. Ability to remain in a typical office setting for extended periods
4. Ability to work on short notice based on business needs
Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1–2 years of leasing, property management, sales, or related experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to close leases and meet leasing goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office is a plus.
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
