Leasing Consultant

Habitat America, a growing property management company, is seeking an experienced and professional Leasing Consultant to join our team at Broadview and Woodcliffe Apartments in Baltimore, MD. This is a full-time position (40 hours/week).

We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic individual with a positive, "can-do" attitude who is passionate about providing exceptional customer service and helping residents feel at home.

Position Overview: The Leasing Consultant is responsible for the day-to-day leasing and administrative operations of the community. This role plays a key part in maintaining strong occupancy levels while delivering an outstanding experience to prospective and current residents.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist prospective and current residents in a professional and friendly manner
• Conduct property tours and effectively present community features and benefits
• Respond to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and in person
• Process rental applications and lease agreements for market-rate units
• Maintain accurate leasing files and documentation
• Manage office responsibilities including answering phones, filing, data entry, and general administrative support
• Coordinate with property management staff to ensure resident satisfaction
• Support marketing and outreach efforts to maintain strong occupancy
• Deliver excellent customer service consistent with Habitat America's standards

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2+ years of property management experience in a leasing consultant or similar role (required)
• Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to close leases
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional demeanor and energetic personality
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Proficiency with standard office software and property management systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
