Leasing Coordinator

Summary of the Role: The Leasing Coordinator will be responsible for performing all leasing activities under the guidance of the department's manager including sourcing, acquiring new customers and meeting set revenues and profit targets.


Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development of the Sales and Lease Services function’s policies, processes, systems and standard operating procedures in line with URED strategic direction and objectives.
  • Gather customer and market information from various sources as an input to the development of appropriate Sales and Lease strategies.
  • Implement all leasing activities including sourcing new tenant, negotiating sales and lease parameters, conducting sales and lease analysis, closing sale and lease transactions and achieving sales and lease targets.
  • Develop and manage cooperative agreements with real estate agents and brokers to maximize property sales and sales.
  • Screen tenants' applications for identity confirmation, rental history, and financial status and report any abnormalities to the Sales and Lease Manager.
  • Market the leasing portfolio to potential tenants through negotiation, cold calling and direct marketing.
  • Complete all necessary documentation associated with sales and leasing activities and submit completed applications to the Sales and Lease Manager for approval.
  • Develop the sales / lease agreements and ensure the collection of security deposits and initial payments are made on timely basis.
  • Maintain and update the Sales & Lease database for all departments' activities including tenants' details, sales and lease contracts, and vacancy and occupancy data.
  • Provide an exceptional customer focus towards both prospective and existing owners and tenants.
  • Prepare the monthly sales / lease reports and submit summary reports to the Sales and Lease Manager.
  • Participate in the measurement of tenants’ satisfaction on semi-annual basis by administering surveys or conducting site visits for tenants' feedback.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
  • A minimum of 1 years experience in a similar position in a real estate development.
