Majid Al Futtaim Properties operates major malls like Mall of Oman (Muscat) and focuses on delivering a premium shopping experience and customer service inside large retail destinations.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Leasing & Tenant Acquisition
Identify and attract new retail brands and tenants
Secure leases for shops, kiosks, and pop-up spaces
Maintain optimal occupancy levels in malls (e.g., City Centre Muscat)
2. Negotiation & Contracts
Negotiate rental rates, lease terms, and renewals
Prepare tenancy agreements and commercial proposals
Work with legal teams for contract finalization
3. Revenue & Budget Targets
Achieve annual leasing revenue targets
Monitor occupancy rates and rental performance
Support mall revenue strategy (base rent, turnover rent, short-term leasing)
4. Tenant Relationship Management
Maintain relationships with existing tenants
Handle renewals, relocations, and expansions
Resolve leasing-related issues and support tenant satisfaction
5. Market Research & Strategy
Analyze retail trends and competitor malls
Recommend rental pricing based on market demand
Identify gaps in mall tenant mix (fashion, F&B, entertainment)
6. Coordination & Reporting
Coordinate with mall operations, marketing, and finance teams
Prepare leasing reports and forecasts
Track vacancies, renewals, and pipeline deals
Skills & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Marketing, or related field
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Experience in real estate / retail leasing (preferred)
Understanding of mall operations and retail brands
CRM and Excel/reporting skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From RO900.000 per month
