The Leasing Manager oversees leasing operations and tenant relations to drive occupancy, revenue, and satisfaction across the property portfolio. The role includes developing leasing strategies, negotiating agreements, ensuring legal compliance, and serving as the key link between management, tenants, and stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement leasing strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue targets.
  • Identify, evaluate, and secure potential tenants through proactive prospecting, networking, and market analysis.
  • Lead lease negotiations, renewals, and restructuring to optimize rental yield while ensuring tenant retention.
  • Oversee preparation and execution of lease agreements in compliance with company policies and local laws.
  • Monitor lease expirations and manage timely renewals or replacements to minimize vacancy rates.
  • Act as the main point of contact for tenants, ensuring prompt resolution of inquiries, complaints, and issues.
  • Build and maintain long-term positive relationships with tenants, fostering trust and loyalty.
  • Coordinate with facilities, maintenance, and operations teams to address tenant service requests.
  • Organize tenant engagement programs and events to strengthen community and tenant satisfaction.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay updated on rental trends, demand, and competitor activity.
  • Recommend pricing strategies and rental adjustments based on market conditions.
  • Prepare regular leasing reports, performance metrics, and forecasts for senior management.
  • Contribute to annual budget planning by providing insights on leasing income and tenant retention strategies.
  • Supervise and mentor leasing executives/associates, providing training and performance guidance.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to design and execute campaigns for property promotion.
  • Work closely with legal, finance, marketing, and operations teams to ensure smooth leasing and tenant relations processes.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • At least 10 years of experience managing leasing operations for mixed-use developments.
  • Strong knowledge of leasing regulations, legal requirements, and property management best practices.
  • Proven negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and financial acumen.
