Job Summary:
The Leasing Officer is responsible for executing day-to-day leasing operations across residential and commercial units within mixed-use developments. The role focuses on identifying potential tenants, conducting property viewings, negotiating lease terms, and ensuring a smooth leasing process from initial inquiry to contract execution. The incumbent contributes directly to achieving occupancy and revenue targets while maintaining strong relationships with tenants and brokers, in line with the company’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
· Source and secure prospective tenants through direct marketing, broker networks, and client referrals.
· Conduct property tours, present leasing proposals, and highlight the features and benefits of available units.
· Negotiate lease terms and ensure all agreements comply with company policies and market standards.
· Prepare and process lease offers, agreements, and supporting documentation in coordination with the Leasing Administrator.
· Maintain an updated database of available units, leasing inquiries, and tenant information.
· Assist in achieving the department’s occupancy and rental income targets across residential and commercial portfolios.
· Monitor market conditions, rental trends, and competitor activities to support strategic pricing and positioning.
· Coordinate with internal departments (Finance, Legal, Property Management, Marketing) to facilitate tenant onboarding and handovers.
· Maintain strong relationships with tenants and agents to promote retention and new leasing opportunities.
· Prepare periodic leasing activity reports, including occupancy, renewals, and pipeline updates, for management review.
Qualifications and Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
· Minimum 3–5 years of experience in leasing or property management, preferably in mixed-use or commercial developments.
· Knowledge of local laws, leasing procedures, and market dynamics.
· Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
· Proficiency in MS Office; experience with property management software (e.g., Yardi, Oracle, or similar) is preferred.
· Organized, proactive, and able to work independently under minimal supervision.
