Leasing & Property Management Executive

Position: JD for Leasing & Property Management Executive

Location: Muscat

Experience: Minimum 2 years (Retail / Mall experience preferred)

Job Purpose: To support the leasing and day-to-day property management operations of Mall by driving new leases, managing tenant relationships, coordinating handovers, and ensuring smooth operational functioning of the mall in line with its positioning as a community destination.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Leasing & Business Development

- Identify, target, and onboard suitable businesses in line with the approved tenant mix and mall strategy.

- Actively source new leasing opportunities through market outreach, networking, and walk-ins.

- Arrange and conduct site visits with prospective tenants.

- Prepare and issue offer letters, negotiate commercial terms, and conclude lease agreements.

- Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely execution of leases.

- Assist in unit handover to tenants, ensuring all documentation and conditions are met.

2) Property & Tenant Management

- Manage day-to-day operational matters within the mall.

- Act as the first point of contact for existing tenants and assist with their routine requirements.

- Coordinate with maintenance, facilities, security, and housekeeping teams for smooth operations.

- Liaise with the accounts team for payment follow-ups, collections, and tenant-related financial matters.

- Ensure tenants comply with lease terms, mall policies, and fit-out guidelines.

3) Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain accurate physical and digital records of all leasing and tenant-related documents.

- Ensure proper filing of leases, addendums, approvals, handover documents, and correspondence.

- Prepare and submit weekly leasing and property management reports to the Leasing Manager and Property Manager.

Skills & Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in mall leasing, retail leasing, or property management.

- Strong understanding of tenant mix planning and retail business categories.

- Ability to negotiate, close deals, and manage multiple stakeholders.

- Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic proficiency is highly preferred.

- Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills.

- Proficient in MS Office

- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of handling on-ground operational tasks.

Someone who is hands-on, commercially aware, and comfortable balancing leasing targets with day-to-day mall operations, while maintaining strong relationships with tenants and internal teams.
