Leasing Specialist

Make an impact

As the Leasing Specialist, you will play a key role in driving marketing and leasing activity across the market while delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will be responsible for achieving leasing goals, maintaining strong occupancy, and supporting overall property performance through effective prospect engagement and follow-up.

  • Maintain a strong 70–75% closing ratio
  • Utilize strong phone skills to pre-lease homes and deliver excellent customer service
  • Set and achieve monthly sales, retention, and occupancy goals
  • Monitor vacancy levels and prioritize efforts to reduce downtime
  • Assist with rental rate adjustments and concession strategies
  • Complete comparative market analyses (CMAs) as needed
  • Create and review property descriptions and marketing efforts
  • Follow up daily with prospects and document feedback in Rently
  • Assist with application processing and supporting documentation
  • Support move-in orientations and renewal inspections with a high level of service
  • Partner with Property Managers and maintenance teams on rent-ready inspections
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, Fair Housing, and all applicable laws
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

What you should bring

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • 3+ years of leasing or property management experience (single-family or multifamily)
  • Strong sales skills with a proven ability to close
  • Experience with property management software and strong computer skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Real estate license preferred, but not required

Retirement

    • Eligibility requires a minimum age of 21 and at least 60 days of service

Time Away From Work

  • Paid Time Off (PTO)

  • 11 paid holidays annually

Parental Leave

  • Following six (6) months of employment, eligible employees may receive:

    • Four (4) weeks of paid parental leave as a primary caregiver, or

    • Two (2) weeks of paid parental leave as a secondary caregiver

  • Following two (2) years of employment, eligible primary caregivers may receive up to twelve (12) weeks of paid parental leave per birth, adoption, or placement

Learning & Development

  • Tuition Reimbursement of up to $5,000 per year for pre‑approved education expenses

    • Repayment obligations may apply if employment ends prior to 24 months
