Position Overview

The Leave, Benefits & Payroll Administrator plays a key role in supporting payroll operations, employee leave administration, and benefits management. This position ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely processing while serving as a point of coordination between Human Resources, Finance, employees, and external service providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process hourly employee payroll and provide support for semi-monthly and incentive or bonus payroll cycles.
  • Administer employee leave programs including FMLA, state-mandated leave, Paid Parental Leave, and short- and long-term disability claims.
  • Manage benefits administration activities such as enrollments, eligibility tracking, life event changes, and support for Open Enrollment processes.
  • Coordinate COBRA administration, including notices, updates, and participant communications.
  • Process payroll-related changes including wage updates, deductions, tax adjustments, garnishments, and year-end payroll activities.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, benefit documentation, ACA coding, and compliance-related files.
  • Monitor and support compliance with applicable federal, state, and local payroll and leave regulations.
  • Provide cross-functional backup support within Total Rewards and Human Resources operations as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

  • (2–4) years of experience in payroll administration, benefits administration, or human resources operations.
  • Previous experience working with Paycom or a comparable HRIS/payroll system is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of payroll processes, FMLA, state leave programs, COBRA, ACA, and related employment regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and organization.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage confidential and sensitive employee information.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,251.20 - $75,376.80 per year
