Position Overview

The Leave, Benefits & Payroll Administrator is responsible for supporting payroll operations, employee leave programs, and benefits administration. This role ensures accurate recordkeeping, timely processing, regulatory compliance, and effective coordination with internal teams and external service providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process hourly payroll and provide operational support for semi-monthly payroll cycles, including bonus or incentive payments.
  • Administer employee leave programs such as FMLA, state-mandated leave, Paid Parental Leave, and short- and long-term disability claims.
  • Manage benefits administration activities, including enrollments, eligibility tracking, life event updates, and Open Enrollment support.
  • Coordinate COBRA administration, including required notifications and participant updates.
  • Handle payroll-related changes such as compensation updates, payroll deductions, tax corrections, garnishments, and year-end processing activities.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, including ACA coding, benefit documentation, and payroll and leave files.
  • Monitor and support compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, leave, and benefits regulations.
  • Provide backup and support across Total Rewards and Human Resources functions as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Two to four (2–4) years of experience in payroll administration, benefits administration, or human resources operations.
  • Experience with Paycom or a comparable HRIS/payroll system is preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of FMLA, state leave laws, COBRA, ACA, and payroll regulations.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication, service orientation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,251.20 - $75,376.80 per year
