About the role:
This role will manage the day-to-day operations of the People Operations team and coach staff through effective leadership, guidance, and training of desired departmental goals and metrics. Collaborates with other leaders in the People Office function to foster improvement and standardization of processes.


What you will be doing:

  • Leads the People Operations team and oversees service delivery, ensuring the team’s objectives are met and exceeded.
  • Establishes a customer-centric culture by leveraging highly collaborative relationships.
  • Serves as a team liaison with various People Office associates and other business functions and leaders.
  • Collaborates with other Center of Excellence units (CoEs) in the company, People Office leaders and business partners to identify areas of potential improvement.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains systems, procedures, and policies.
  • Ensures the People Operations team contributes to the shared Knowledge Base and uses the feedback to make recommendations to senior management regarding operational issues and improvements.
  • Drives change management to ensure the success of the People Operations team.
  • Proactively evaluates process improvement strategies and initiatives that drive transactional and routine services, increasing efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Develop service level agreements (SLAs) that govern the day to day operations and meet the needs of the business, the customers, and employees.
  • Maintains and improves customer satisfaction and plays a key role in issue resolution.
  • Oversees vendor management resources in efforts to control operational cost, quality and drive continuous improvement.
  • Takes the lead in phases of global project implementations and oversees current service center technologies; including responsibility for current and future Workday and Payroll integrations and conversions across the globe.
  • Develops best practice metrics to provide unified and consistent policy and process development. Drives overall implementation of these plans and strategies, and continually monitors effectiveness.
  • Participates in People Office leadership discussions and initiatives with business partners, CoEs and regional/country People Office groups to provide the best possible service delivery model to the business.


What you will need:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources or the equivalent combination of education, training or work experience is preferable. Typically requires a minimum of four to six years’ experience in a people office systems support role and minimum two to three years of colleague management experience.

  • Requires strong organizational, team building, coaching and mentoring skills
  • Skill in use of People Office systems, preferably Workday
  • Strong system management/control experience
  • Knowledge of human resources concepts, policies, and procedures
  • Skill in productivity, planning, and workload management
  • Ability to design, document, and implement process improvements
  • Excellent skills in communicating ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise, and professional manner including presentations
  • Excellent customer service, problem solving, and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to interface with all levels of employees and effectively interact with various functional areas and facilities
  • Ability establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, management, and clients
