Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated, professionally competent, and student-focused Lecturer in Computer Science to join our academic team. The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of teaching experience at the university level, strong subject knowledge, and the ability to deliver high-quality instruction.

- Teach introductory computer technology and data management applications courses to underclassmen as part of the university’s general education core curriculum.
- Collaborate with department faculty in delivering advanced computer science courses to students pursuing bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science, IT, and related fields.
- Instruct, guide, and mentor undergraduate students majoring in Applied Technology and Computer Science throughout their academic progression.
- Emphasize hands-on practical activities, lab work, and project-based learning to ensure students gain strong practical skills along with theoretical understanding.
- Assist department staff in managing and maintaining the university’s main computer lab, including working on a rotating schedule to ensure lab availability during both day and evening hours.
- Coordinate with internal faculty and external experts to explore research initiatives, while representing the department in securing funding from the university’s finance division and private donors.
- Develop and update curriculum and course materials to be used by departmental staff and shared with other academic institutions where applicable.
- Maintain regular office hours during the academic semester to provide individual student support, advising, and academic guidance.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum Qualification: MS/M.Phil in Computer Science or a relevant discipline (HEC recognized).
- Experience: At least 3 years of university-level teaching experience.
- Strong command over core CS subjects such as Programming, Data Structures, Databases, Operating Systems, Software Engineering, and related areas.
- Excellent communication, classroom-management, and presentation skills.
