Job Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and accomplished Lecturer in Fine Arts with a proven ability to deliver high-quality instruction and mentor aspiring artists. The ideal candidate should have expertise in fine arts disciplines, a commitment to academic excellence, and the capacity to foster creativity and professional growth among students.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and studio-based instruction in Fine Arts, including Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Art History, Visual Arts, and related subjects.
- Develop course outlines, lesson plans, assignments, and assessment criteria in accordance with academic standards.
- Supervise student projects, portfolios, exhibitions, and research activities.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback to support artistic and academic growth.
- Foster creativity, critical thinking, and artistic expression among students.
- Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Organize and contribute to exhibitions, workshops, seminars, and other academic events.
- Engage in scholarly, creative, and professional development activities.
Eligibility Criteria
- MPhil/MS or equivalent qualification in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Art & Design, or a closely related discipline from an HEC-recognized institution.
- Minimum two years of teaching experience at the university level will be preferred.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating artistic and creative achievements.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Research publications, exhibitions, or professional artistic experience will be considered an added advantage.
