Lecturer – Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT)

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Lecturer in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses, guiding students in laboratory practices, and ensuring academic excellence through innovative and interactive teaching methods.

• Design and conduct laboratory experiments to reinforce lecture material
• Evaluate student performance through assessments, projects, and practical exams
• Maintain updated knowledge of advancements in laboratory technology
• Supervise students during laboratory sessions to ensure safety and proper technique
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to students
• Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance the laboratory technology program
• Prepare course materials and instructional aids
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
• Proficiency with laboratory equipment and technologies
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
• Ability to effectively manage a classroom and laboratory setting

Eligibility Criteria:

• Minimum Qualification: MPhil in Medical Laboratory Technology from an HEC-recognized institution.
• Experience: Teaching experience at the college or university level will be preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication, subject knowledge, and laboratory management skills.
