Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in KSA (Makkah) for a LEED Coordinator. The LEED Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating the LEED certification and compliance on behalf of the contractor. The candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the LEED certification process, performing site visits, developing and managing sustainability plans, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and regulations. Additionally, they will be responsible for coordinating with the project construction teams to implement onsite sustainability strategies and provide evidence of achieving LEED construction credits. The LEED Coordinator will be technically supported by our back-office team and will be the point of contact for coordination between the site and our technical teams.

Responsibilities:

• To be based on site full-time.
  
• Communicate and advise construction team on LEED requirements and monitor implementation.
  
• Raise any non-compliance concerns to the relevant personnel.
  
• Attend sustainability meetings.
  
• Conduct a weekly site inspection using relevant checklists.
  
• Review material submittals (with support from our technical team).
  
• Communicate and coordinate with the site team to collect compliance evidence.
  
• Prepare a monthly sustainability progress report with our technical team.
  

Requirements

Qualifications :

The perfect candidate will possess the following qualities:

• LEED v4 AP credential is a must, Mostadam AP or GSAS CGP credential is a plus.
  
• 3 to 5 years of experience in construction projects, of which the last 2 years in LEED projects, preferably in KSA.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  

Familiarity with building codes and regulations in KSA.

Understands the dynamics and complexities of working at site in a fast working environment.

Young, hard worker and ability to meet deadlines of the regular submissions (weekly and monthly reports).
