TempExperts is seeking a skilled litigation Legal Administrative Assistant to support attorneys handling condominium and HOA law, real estate litigation, mortgage foreclosures, and business litigation. This fast-paced role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with at least three (3) years of litigation support experience in a law firm setting. The position requires strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities to manage deadlines, documents, and attorney workflow efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in preparing, proofreading, and editing legal documents, correspondence, and contracts for accuracy and proper formatting.
- Organize and maintain both electronic and physical client files, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant.
- Manage attorney calendars, scheduling client meetings, hearings, and deadlines.
- Perform e-filing of documents with Florida State and Federal Courts.
- Support discovery and trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and preparing materials for hearings or client meetings.
- Draft routine correspondence, client communications, and billing-related letters.
- Conduct new client intake, conflicts checks, and assist with opening/closing client matters.
- Handle general administrative duties such as expense reports, CLE tracking, check requests, and document management.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; Paralegal certificate or degree preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of litigation support experience in a law firm.
- Familiarity with HOA/Condo law, mortgage foreclosures, or real estate litigation strongly desired.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with iManage, Filesite, or Aderant is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work under minimal supervision.
- Ability to work extra hours as needed to meet deadlines.
