Position Summary
We are seeking a
highly skilled and experienced Legal Adviser
to oversee and manage all legal affairs for our group of companies. The successful candidate will provide expert legal advice, ensure compliance with local regulations, and support the senior management team across corporate, commercial and operational matters.
Key Responsibilities

Provide practical and current legal advice on
corporate structure, operations and governance
within Qatar, with expertise in
commercial and employment law
.

Draft, review and negotiate a variety of
contracts and agreements
, including commercial contracts, joint ventures and supplier agreements.

Develop and implement
compliance programmes
to ensure adherence to internal policies and relevant legislation.
-
Identify and assess
legal risks
, and develop appropriate mitigation strategies to protect the companyâs interests.
-
Advise on
corporate governance best practice
and ensure proper implementation.
-
Liaise with
senior management, external counsel and regulatory bodies
to support efficient legal operations.
-
Act as the
primary contact
for regulatory authorities and external organisations.
-
Support group-level activities, including
mergers, acquisitions and corporate restructuring
.

Oversee
dispute resolution
in coordination with internal departments and external legal partners.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Bachelorâs degree in
Law
(minimum requirement).
-
Valid
Qatari lawyer licence
or equivalent qualification.
-
Minimum of
seven yearsâ legal experience
within a corporate or group structure, supporting multiple business units and senior leadership.
-
Experience with
QFC or QFZ regulations
, or other
GCC jurisdictions
, is advantageous.
Skills & Competencies
-
Excellent
communication and written English skills
(Arabic proficiency is an advantage).

Strong understanding of
Qatari business laws
, including corporate and labour law.

Exceptional
analytical, negotiation and advisory
abilities.

Capacity to convey complex legal issues clearly to non-legal stakeholders.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Proactive, detail-oriented and able to perform efficiently in
fast-paced environments
