Job Title: Legal Adviser

Job Purpose
Provide legal advice and support to the company to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, minimize legal risks, and protect the company’s interests in all business operations, contracts, disputes, and regulatory matters.
Key Responsibilities

Provide legal guidance and advice to management and internal departments.

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents.

Ensure company compliance with labor laws, commercial laws, corporate regulations, and industry standards.

Handle legal disputes, claims, litigation matters, and coordinate with external law firms when required.

Review company policies, procedures, and governance frameworks from a legal perspective.

Advise on employment matters, disciplinary actions, and termination cases.

Support mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and other strategic transactions.

Protect company intellectual property rights, trademarks, copyrights, and confidential information.

Represent the company before government authorities and regulatory bodies when needed.

Monitor legal and regulatory changes and assess their impact on the business.

Conduct legal risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.

Maintain proper legal documentation and records.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent.

Master’s Degree or professional legal certification is preferred.
-
Licensed to practice law or eligible under local regulations (preferred).

Minimum 5–10 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in corporate or commercial law.
