Base pay range

EGP24,000.00/yr - EGP30,000.00/yr

Job Summary

The Legal Advisor will play a key role in supporting the legal and regulatory framework of the organization. The position involves providing legal advice on compliance and supervisory matters, assisting in policy and regulatory development, managing legal proceedings, and supporting departmental operations. The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal teams, external counsel, and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment with applicable laws and standards in the virtual assets sector.

• Legal Advisory
• Provide legal advice on client-related activities, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
• Advise on licensing, supervision, and investigation matters.
• Conduct legal research and contribute to the standardization of contracts and legal documents.
• Regulatory Policy Development
• Support the drafting and revision of regulatory policies and frameworks.
• Work with external legal counsel on the development of regulations and rulebooks.
• Coordinate with federal regulators, industry groups, and other stakeholders.
• Case and Litigation Management
• Assist in managing legal proceedings, claims, and litigation involving the organization or VASPs.
• Help allocate legal resources and follow up on active legal cases.
• Departmental Support
• Support the daily operations of the Regulatory Enablement and Enforcement department.
• Assist in performance management, staff development, and interdepartmental coordination.
• Other Duties
• Handle confidential matters with discretion and perform other duties as required.
