Legal Affairs Executive

We are looking for an Executive, Legal Affairs to support the Company’s commercial and legal activities. The role focuses on drafting, reviewing, and managing commercial contracts and contractual documentation, providing legal guidance to internal stakeholders, and helping identify and mitigate legal and commercial risks. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that contracts align with business objectives and comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements in the Kingdom of Bahrain.


Key Responsibilities

  • Review, draft, amend, and negotiate commercial agreements and contractual documents.
  • Identify legal and commercial risks, liabilities, and obligations.
  • Provide practical recommendations and alternative wording to protect the Company’s interests.
  • Prepare, review, and update contracts related to commercial activities, such as:, commercial agency agreements, distribution and sale/supply arrangements, aftersales services, warranties, maintenance agreements, and other business-related contractual arrangements.
  • Review proposals, terms and conditions, and contract templates before approval or execution.
  • Maintain, update, and enhance Company standard forms and contract templates to ensure consistency and legal compliance.
  • Draft and review formal legal correspondence related to contractual matters, including: notices, amendment requests, reservations of rights, responses to claims, and other communications with counterparties.
  • Conduct legal research on contract-related and commercial/regulatory topics.
  • Provide legal guidance and opinions to internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel when specialist advice is required.
  • Maintain accurate and organized contract records.
  • Track renewal dates, expiry dates, notice periods, and key contractual obligations to support contract lifecycle management.
  • Support the identification and assessment of contractual and commercial risks.
  • Recommend mitigation actions and practical solutions in line with business objectives.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external parties to ensure effective coordination on contractual matters.
  • Ensure alignment between legal requirements and commercial goals.
  • Support the Company’s Environment, Health, Safety, and Quality (EHSQ) policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to promoting a strong safety and compliance culture.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law or equivalent.
  • Additional background/knowledge in commercial law or contract law is an advantage.
  • Experience3–5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in: commercial contract drafting and review, and/or corporate legal affairs.
